Sitting right at the V&A Waterfront, the Two Oceans Aquarium showcases marine life from where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet — sharks, penguins, turtles and a kelp forest, all under one roof.
What's inside
The aquarium is built around the idea that two very different oceans meet at the Cape — the colder Atlantic and warmer Indian — and organises its exhibits accordingly, including a large predator tank, a kelp forest exhibit, penguins, turtles and an underwater viewing tunnel. It's consistently one of the more polished, well-maintained attractions at the Waterfront.
Good for families and bad weather

Booking and timing
Booking online in advance is worth doing in peak season to skip queues. Weekday mornings tend to be quieter than weekends and school holidays. Some deeper interactions (like shark dives for certified divers) run separately from general entry and should be booked ahead if you're interested.
